        Rahui is up due to kauri dieback disease. The walkway is closed until further notice. As of 27 August 2022.

        As of 20 September 2020 this Walkway was closed by a rahui put in place by the local iwi. Presumably to protect Kauri. I recommend, as an alternative, continuing along Kaipara Flats Rd to the Dome Valley track.
