This used to be hotel for ship building. Around 1877. Beach is awesome and great picnic spot.

Lovely to pop back and visit Scotts landing. Wasnt the sunniest day, but the area is always beautiful even in the drizzle!

Since it's in Mahurangi East Regional Park I thought this was somewhere we could visit and hang out. The only signposted turn off the road happened to be up to a rented holiday home. Don't bother trying to find the homestead or even driving down to Scott's landing on a weekend, was packed and the road was dangerous to drive with cars parallel parked up the narrow roadway.
