Ordered Uber Eats, delivery time 10-25 mins. Cool. 45 mins later the driver calls to say there was some issue at the restaurant but rest assured, he has got our order. All good. Over an hour later, nothing - received a message from Uber to say the order has been cancelled due to a mix up at the restaurant?! Why didnt Shake Out just re-make the food? And why did nobody call after the re-assuring driver, if for some mysterious reason Shake Out was unable to re-make the meal or offer any sort of subsitutes? Imagine that when eating in - sorry your food was given to another customer and were not going to bother with making it again, so after an hour of waiting, you wont be receiving your meal - maybe go and try somewhere else. Okay, byeee now and come again!

I have tried to get in contact with shake out via instagram before posting here but they havent responded. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. Feb 4th around 6:30pm me my partner and a friend ordered our food, and my friend asked to remove cheese as she is dairy intolerant, and my partner asked to remove the sauce on the burger because he is allergic to one of the ingredients. We asked the guy behind the counter (who was very friendly) to remove these ingredients but when he asked the lady who was packing the order, she looked at us and rolled her eyes, then told the guy no more special orders. I find this really unfair as we arent asking for special burgers for fun, but because of allergies. Ive only been to shake out a few times but this has made none of us want to come back as we dont want to be treated that way for having allergies.
