Al Forno

Quite an unfortunate dining experience we had as we expected a bit more from this place as our experience in the past (5+ years) was great. upon arrival, we were seated and then told there were lots of dishes that were unavailable. (not a great start). secondly we started reading the menu, only to realise that there was nothing that stood out. so settled for the fish. Went to order the fish and were told THAT dish was unavailable, so decided to order the veal medallion and the filet al salmone and the gamberoni. Now.. the Gamberoni looked the worst out of the lot, there was about 6 overcooked prawns and because there were no clams on the menu tonight, we just got prawns (not great). the veal medallions came out and they were NOT medallions but overcooked little veal strips, and the filet al samone were missing the prawns with dry pieces of salmon on top of the steak... When we asked for our prawns the waitresses looked confused and walked away with no communication at all, so we sat there eating and wondering if we were to receive our prawns. we asked if the pasta came with anything else because there were no clams and the answer was no. Overall, the food was ALL below average and would recommend that no one wasted their money here because what you pay for is not what you get.

Hopefully the AI Fornos owner will see this review. We had dinner at here. The manager not only cold to us but also rude to his staff. When we came in and sat down. The manager served other people with smiley face but suddenly he turned around and cold to us. He did this several times. Then I feel uncomfortable to had dinner here. Moreover, Because of our table is next to the reception, so I also noticed that he was rude to the staff. I can't believe how such a manager manages a restaurant? Hopefully this review is helpful for you to choose which restaurant you want to go.

Had Tortellini di Pollo last night via Uber eats, and although in their recipe it says it has chicken pieces apart from the chicken fillings in their dumplings, i had only 2 of the actual chicken pieces!! Like how on earth is this even possible?! 2 small pices of chicken! And paid over $30 for the order Suuch a rip off!! Prices are too high anyway but to see this on top..really blew my mind..

What a beautiful little place. Popped in for an impromptu date night dinner staff were friendly and gave us a table. Even though it got busy the service was great and food was delicious. No complaints at all and we will be back.
