        Great park to for the kids to play and walk the dogs. It's a nice place to have a family picnic or bring your own bbq. The grounds are in exceptional state and you need to take your rubbish away as there is no rubbish bins provided. This park is a five to ten minute drive to devonport for its cafes and beaches and historic villas and views of t Auckland city or you can go the other direction towards Belmont where there is small boutique shops and cafes.

        An often quiet recreational area, away from busy roads and a large children's playground based on a boat/ship theme. Lots of grass around the area for small sports play and a boules (petanque) pitch makes this a pleasant and spacious reserve for families.
