        Our daughter had given us a 2 night break away to Matakana but she had to change the original booking date for us. When we arrived after 4pm the owner obviously hadn't made the change of date in her booking system so wasn't expecting us and our suite was not ready. We went into the village for a drink and more than an hour later we were able to return. The suite decor looked lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I was unable to find any hangers for a dress and the Matakana Botanicals products in the bathroom were difficult to dispense. Also the cups for hot drinks, whilst looking great, with no handles were too hot to hold. I realise that these are minor details but detract from what was a relaxing break away. The suite was lovely and sunny and in a very handy location to Matakana.
