Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve

I recently visited Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve and was thoroughly impressed with the small and lovely setting. The facilities were excellent, including a playground, safe beach, and plenty of sand and grass areas. The reserve was peaceful and tranquil, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, there was a small downside, as some visitors insisted on breaking the rule of no music systems. This meant that we had to endure loud Islander tunes at times, which detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, I would highly recommend Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve to anyone looking for a relaxing day out. The setting is beautiful, and the facilities are top-notch. It's the perfect place to bring the family or spend a lazy day soaking up the sun. Overall, I had a great experience at Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve and will definitely be returning in the future.

A great reserve. Lots of wildlife on the water, aplayground, toilets and a water fountain. Lots of loop walking tracks too.

Surely my favorite spot inside the city. Im an astrophotographer and love the low light in this area. Apart from city lights beaming through. Safe n calm. Has toilets.
