I had to make a trip to Auckland recently so decided to go early and to a little tour around places that I had lived in. And all places had really changed (Over 35 years) but had lunch at the Bungalo Cafe which was not there years ago. Bit of lunch and a coffee and I sat at a table to watch the owner and staff working. Don't think I have watched such behavour before, everything worked like clockwork, even with the overseas clients. Now it's not often that I go to-the shore these days but I will be back

I'm a regular. This morning when I get there and take a seat a grumpy lady snips at me: Are you here for breakfast? Yes I reply. Then you better go order at the counter she says sarcastically. I know how it works, I mutter. She must be having a bad day and I'm sorry for her but she is dragging her bottom lip from one end of the dining area to the other, scowling at everyone and barking at her colleagues. Not cool. Ruined the experience for me and my wife. Food was so so...

Breakfast was delicious. Excellent service. Took away orange & almond cake. Absolutely devine . Thanks guys

Waitress spilled my coffee the returned it this was Burnt coffee worst Ive had in 10 years and I myself make coffee for a living, then gave milk in a fluffy to a two year old after being told he is allergic , then rushed out rudely to move other people onto our table and made our group feel small even though we paid for some ch a bad experience will never go back and will recommend friends and family avoid this place ,child now covered in rash and will cost in medicine
