I don't usually leave bad reviews but I'm really quite shocked at the quality. I went in today and had SNS powder removed and gel polish put on. For starters they didn't remove the power properly so the application of the gel polish is bumpy and inconsistent. I asked for my nails to be shaped round, the lady filed them square and when I tried to ask her to change it she just continued. The filing is horrifically uneven. My nails are suck to my fingers from the top coat. I honestly could have done a better job myself. I really regret not asking for a refund because I do not by any means think this quality is acceptable for what I paid. Services: Polish removal, Nail cut & filing, Gel manicures

I visited Forever Nails again today, I had a Pedicure with shellac finish, And OMG the service was amazing My 40 minutes in the massage chair while I got a foot massage and finished with beautiful painted toenails! I am over the moon happy it was the Best Self love treat It was well worth the $55! Thank you Service: Pedicure

I've been coming here for years and always had a great experience...usually getting dipping powder manicure with tips. I had a special event and needed 5 colours...one for each finger. I was charged $10 extra for this, which I thought was a bit excessive considering the only extra work involved is dipping a finger into a different pot...unlike a French which involves extra skill and time and is only $5 extra. Anyway I went home and after examining, I felt they were very thick and quite lumpy, a few edges not done so well. My usual girls did not do this manicure...they are all fabulous. Rather than just write a review, I returned the following weekend to give them an opportunity to fix it. I thought while I was there getting them fixed, I would ask about a colour change, seeing my event was now over. It was not one of the usual girls that have been there for years (they are all fabulous), but an older lady, who seemed to be in charge....well she was incredibly abrasive when I asked if they do colour changes or backfill. She seemed to think I changed my mind about the colours rather than was asking about a colour change service. She basically shouted at me that I should think carefully about my colours when I first came in...I tried to explain that I wanted those colours at the time, and I thought you could pay for a colour change. She screamed "no colour change no back fill...you need to get new nails!" ...she would shout over me and not let me explain. She seemed very nice at other times, but when there is an issue or a misunderstanding, she is very abrasive and not very nice to deal with. I don't expect to be shouted at in any circumstances. The man did try to fix his work, and explained that he could put gel colour over my nails but not dip powder. I said sure, can I get the red that was on my thumb. He said ok but he would file down the blue on my index finger as it was too dark. He filed down the 2 blue fingers in less than 5 minutes. I don't understand why this couldn't have happened with the rest and then used dip powder...other salons offer this. Anyway he was about to proceed with the red gel, and I asked to make sure.." the red will be the same on all fingers, right? It will only not cover the blue, which you filed down"...he said no, it will be a bit different on each finger! I'm like hell no! Who wants a different shade of red on each finger...he seemed exasperated when he said ...well you have different colours on each finger. Seriously? Why didn't he just explain this before filing down the blue? I was under thr impression that only the blue would show through, not the others too! In the end I said just paint them black. I was so upset at the shouting and the miscommunication I just wanted to get out. They still weren't a good manicure...he did OK with the black but the original thick and lumpy work showed through. I got charged $35 for the gel! $70 for the original work. I am not happy and won't go back unless I can get one of the usual girls.

Sad to say that after 9 years of fortnightly visits I have now found somewhere else due to consistent deterioration of quality of work. The spend is not an issue for me but I am time poor and having to return 4 weeks in a row for replacement SNS with no regard shown for my time and no apology is enough. I think the staff are lovely but increasingly pressured and they rarely seem to smile anymore. What used to make them special has gone as has my loyalty. Services: Waxing, Dip powder, Pedicure
