Kauri Park reserve is closed to protect the kauri from kauri dieback disease. A shame we cant enjoy this pristine bush but more important we preserve the kauri for future generations. If you wanted to walk this check out others in kaipatiki like Eskdale or Lee Roys instead.

Nice little three minute bush walk en route to Kauri Park School. DoC have done a nice job making sure the path is easy to walk.
