After spending a few months searching for the right property and navigating our way through the real estate agent tactics, we found David a breath of fresh air to deal with, caring for both the vendor and the purchaser - a rarity we found! We chose to work with David to sell our home at a time when the market was changing rapidly. An environment like this is stressful for a vendor, and what you really need is an agent with strong interpersonal skills, deep local market knowledge, and an inner drive to achieve the best result possible. We were extremely appreciative of the work that David put in to our insightful weekly reports, his approach to managing our fluctuating confidence, and the accuracy of his predictions for how the auction might play out. Watching what was happening with similar properties at the time, we could see that other agents can struggle with this. David was really straight up and went above and beyond. I've bought a house that David was selling and have really appreciated how he was always friendly, helpful and upfront/realistic with us, particularly around price expectations. Having experienced a lot of other agents who at times can be misleading in terms of price in order to keep us interested (knowing full well that we can't afford what the vendor is wanting), it was refreshing that David genuinely didn't want to waste anyone's time at any of the properties we looked at and I feel that he was all round the most trustworthy agent we dealt with. He also went above and beyond, even bringing his own trailer and helping the vendor with clearing out all their rubbish before our settlement so that we could have peace of mind that everything had been done properly.
