Small Talk Therapy

I am an experienced Speech-Language Therapist and I have had supervision with Fiona, and I highly recommend working with her. She is incredibly supportive and helped me to reflect a lot on my work. She has a wealth of hands-on experience, and she shared some really great ideas that I hadn't considered before. She is extremely knowledgeable and very willing to share the research that she has read, as well as sharing resources and ideas. She is very passionate about her work, and it's so inspiring.

The awesome Fiona has been our daughter's private speech therapist for more than 4 years, Erika has Down Syndrome with associated learning delays. We honestly credit Fiona with the amazing leaps and bounds we've seen in her learning, development and communication, and we'll always be very grateful.

If you have the opportunity, working with the Small Talk team will be one of the best decisions you can make for your child. Terexa has expertly supported and guided my son, his teachers, his RTLB, Ministry of Education and ourselves at the right times to help my son with Selective Mutism overcome his anxiety and assist him to talk in class. Her approach is respectful, intuitive and individually tailored for your child. I cannot thank her enough for sharing her expertise. Fiona and her team are amazing and will truly support you and your child when you don't know yourself how to help them.

Our son Noah has been working with Jo from Small Talk for about 2 years. She has made amazing progress with him, and we couldn't recommend Jo highly enough. She has a wonderful rapport with children, is caring and enthusiastic about her job. She has communicated with our kindy, school, MoE, RTLB and physiotherapists all to help Noah, and us, get the best help he can. We are so grateful.
