Puriri is a must visit vineyard! Their wines are both intellectually engaging and a crescendo for the pallet. Every sip beckoned another bottle. This could only have been made possible by the family-like team that tends this experience from the Vinyard to the table. A true joy spending the afternoon together. Premium Bordeaux style red wines, comparable to the Grand Cru of Pomerol and Saint-milion. Named the top winery in New Zealand by the Real Review in 2020. Cellar door is by appointment only on weekends outside of the vintage period.
