The hinges have snapped 3x during this time.
Contacted Heirloom to have another replacement hinge sent out as they say I have a 5 year warranty on this part.
I was told they no longer stock that type of hinge and I have to buy a WHOLE NEW TOILET SEAT!!!!
Employed some cunning and asked to see a picture of the hinges that the replacement OPTIMA SEAT use and THEY ARE IDENTICAL to the ones my IMPERIAL TOILET SEAT USE!!!
HEIRLOOM TRYED TO UPSELL ME TO A $100 NEW TOILET SEAT when all I needed was a replacement hinge.
After much perserverance and my constant refusal to buy a BRAND NEW TOILET SEAT as they advised me was my only option they agreed to send me out a replacement hinge for the 3rd time. Quite apparent that these hinges have a design fault and are not fit for purpose.
WELL THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT HINGES ACCOMPANIED WITH A BROKEN OPTIMA TOILET SEAT WHICH I HAD TO THEN DISPOSE OF.
SO IF YOU PURCHASE FROM HEIRLOOM AND EXPERIENCE A PRODUCT FAULT THIS IS THE TYPE OF MALICIOUS , UNHELPFUL AND BLATANT ATTEMPT OF AN UPSELL YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS COMPANY WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG!!!!!!!!!!
