DO NOT USE and BEWARE. Friend of mine went to use them , then was told they can't do the job, was promised back their money that they were made to pay up front - never got it. I looked into the companies office website and also found that Kiwi King Spit Roast went into liquidation in 2015. Same shareholder of that company still doing jobs and not paying people !! Wish there was a NEGATIVE start rating.

I was looking for a Spit roast company to cater for a special event in August. So I Google search for "Napier spit roast" and Kiwi Kings was one of three that popped up. I decided to email Scott for a quote, which he replied back and it looked reasonable. I decided to go ahead with the quote but needed to put a deposit down to confirm booking. The week before the party I emailed Scott to pay the remaining balance plus give him the delivery address. He replied back apologizing that he didn't realize the party was in Napier and that his company was base in Auckland. But that he would refund my full $350 deposit back. I was totally upset but at the same time relieved that I was getting my refund back. To be fair I take part blame for not checking where the company was located. A week went by and I hadn't received a refund. So I email Scott but no reply. Second/third week I rang a couple of times and left messages on his phone plus emails asking him about my refund or if I was getting a refund. But still no reply. It's now October and still no refund!! I was happy with the service in the beginning. But you can't email a customer and tell them that you'll refund (in full)their money then go back on your word. I find it to be distasteful, stealing and down right rude. If you didn't want to give me my refund then you should of mentioned it in the email. So yeah one star from me!
