        Uniden is a well-known brand, but seems on the decline. If you have a Uniden item that's a few years old, the self-help, for things like lost user manuals, seems utterly useless.

        I own Uniden radios and a radar detector and rang to ask for some tech support as the display on the detector was showing an error. Amazing customer service. I rang Uniden and Dane was able to help me reset to the factory setting immediately over the phone. I have been impressed by their exceptional customer support and their quality products.
