Visited for the first time yesterday. Great laid back environment with some awesome old skool sounds playing (thankfully not blasting like many other places). Waitress accommodated us in terms of seating away from the main diners due to Autistic daughter (sensory issues). Service was both friendly and speedy. Daughter opted for the ribs and wings, which came in 2 options: sweet or spicey, with chips and a chocolate thick shake, I opted for the ribs and steak with chips and a coke. The meals came out on humungous plates. Food: chips were perfectly cooked and some of the best I've had anywhere. Ribs, don't get me wrong, these were damn delicious and for the most part, the meat fell right off, BUT there were parts of them that were very hard / dry. The sauce was delicious and was the right amount. My steak was bigger than I was expecting and was cooked medium to well done nicely, a bit chewy and grisly in some parts but when smothered in their amazing mushroom sauce, yum! Daughter's wings were juicy and she enjoyed them. We were provided ketchup and finger bowls (nice touch). We ended up taking some ribs home as we were both stuffed (they charge 50c for a takeaway container). Ribs: I think we were both a tiny bit disappointed when they came out, as they are those really flat ribs, which we were not expecting as very different to ribs we've had everywhere else, and for this reason, I do feel that the price of the meals are just a tad too high. I paid $103 for lunch for 2, I normally never pay that much but I felt like treating myself and my daughter. I can't find my receipt with their names on it but there was 1 waitress and 1 bar guy, for only 2 front of house staff on, they had this place running very smoothly and both ldovided e cellent customer service.

I bought a steak burger meal and a kids cheeseburger meal. I asked for no sauce as my daughter won't eat burgers with sauce in it and it came smothered in sauce also my burger was like mush and soggy. Overly loaded in sauce. Will probs not eat there again tbh.
