Pakuranga Health Camp School

I always remember this place Pakuranga Health camp. My brother and I stayed there for 2weeks. Mixed and mingled with other kids of different nationalities. The on site swimming pool. Half moon Bay wharf down the road. Games and activities we played. Talent show. Awesome teachers. Friendly and kind. I loved it there. One of my best youth camps I been to. I was 9 or 10 back in 1983 1984?

Hi I was 8 when I attended the pakauranga health camp, I remember milk and date sandwiches and boys were at one end of camp and gurls at other end

Mannn I remember coming here when I was younger... The photo definitely looks different than what I remember it looking like there but it's probably a photo taken way before I went... But I'd never forget how great it was when I attended this school, they treat you like you are their own kid and I made so many friends while I was there, I have so many great memories from this place, I remember had a Maori teacher that was my favourite (but forgot her name), I remember she was always there for me and always made me feel safe and that I could talk to her when I needed help. I am so thankful for everyone that helped me while I was here, there will always be a place and this school will always be a place in my heart for this school and it's amazing teachers/leaders.
