Absolutely appalling disgusting food at Akl Hospital provided by their caterers. Prison food and soup kitchens are better than this. The (hardly fresh) cold, tasteless portions are tiny, veges dry and rubbery, awful scary pieces of 'pork' in 'honey'???? What honey? Sludgey 'porridge', chicken 'stock' (not soup). I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Not to mention the cheap plastic tubs the food was served in, no plates or trays. As for the cardboard cutlery - a knife and teaspoon only to eat your so-called 'meal' with. The portions and severely poor quality of food in Auckland Hospital are far from nourishing for sick people. This does not aid their recovery. Bring your own food or your loved ones/whanau will feel sicker, starving and severely undernourished. Third world countries eat better than this!

0/10 DO NOT recommend as an employer. I had to fight tooth and nail to get Compass Group to pay me properly, only to discover at the end of the tax year that they haven't paid my PAYE correctly, leaving me with a significant debt to IRD. Now are impossible to get hold of - Can't get into the employee portal anymore, the email addresses I have for the managers at the time I was employed don't work anymore and they don't respond to my attempts to call/text, the phone number that is difficult to hunt down in the first place tells you to contact them via the contact form on the website before hanging up on you, and, quelle surprise!? the contact form on the website doesn't work due to a faulty reCAPTCHA. AVOID as an employer.
