AA Centre - Penrose

Good and friendly staff. Took me over an hour in the queue and would've been longer if a few people in front of me hadn't left early. I'm told it's usually like this unless you go first thing in the morning. It would've been longer if a few people in front of me hadn't given up and left early. I'm surprised AA haven't figured out how to sort this out yet but in the meantime, 10 extra seats would be a welcome addition. Luckily I enjoyed chatting to the person beside me in the queue and feel like I know them quite well now. TIP: Take some knitting with you or a hobby you've always wanted to take up but haven't had the time.

I have just today renewed my driver licence at the AA Penrose branch and thought the service provided by Leena Sheth was outstanding. More specifically, I had to have a prior medical because of the HT class and so when I arrived I had already completed one form. Standing in the que Leena came over and said I needed to fill another form in, and went and got that for me and showed me where to sit down and fill it out. I did that and stood in the que again. Leena noticed I was back a few places in the que and guided me aside to complete the necessary paperwork and go up and get my photo taken before issuing me a temporary licence. It was all very convenient. Leena also asked me if I wanted to join as an AA Member, which was well done, albeit on this occasion I declined because my wife and daughter are already members. Five Star rating for service! thank you. CB
