They shrank my king-size feather duvet by 100 mm in length on one side and 50mm on the other and 135 mm in width on one side and 110 mm on the other. So somehow they even shrank it crooked in both directions!!! I know this because I measured it before I took it to them (as I am tall and my bed was specially made 2.10 m long, so I could not afford any shrinkage). I had also asked them both on the phone and when I took the duvet in 2 or 3 days later, if it could possibly shrink and they assured me both times that it definitely would not! Then they blamed the duvet for shrinking, saying it was bad quality and argued with me for 45 minutes why they wouldn't contribute towards or pay for the new one I was forced to buy because of their incompetence (nothing wrong with the quality - it came from Bed Bath and Beyond). They wouldn't even refund my dry-cleaning cost! I then had to wait for 3 more days for their manager to ring me. He also argued with me for about 40 minutes with the same nonsense that I got from his staff but eventually I finally managed to get my dry-cleaning cost refunded (which cost me yet another trip) and then he tried to get me to sign a waiver that I could not take the matter any further (to try to stop me from writing a review like this etc) before they would give me the money! Talk about stingy, miserable, unethical and getting blood out of a stone!!! My advice is to keep well away and find yourself a dry-cleaning company with a good reputation!
