        Got hooked on this chain (and thereafter Malaysian food) after my clients took me to the East Tamaki store when I was sent to a godforsaken site for a year where it was a 10 min drive to get coffee.... Then the Epsom store became my go-to for getting takeout. The fish head soup with crispy lard, fried rice, CKT are all amazing. Not everyone likes the fishy taste of the signature soup, esp if you prefer Chinese cuisine style of braised fish. Rendang was always a dud, not braised properly and tough.
