Went a few times for a deep tissue massage (with Share).. which was really good and beneficial in treating back pain. After a particular visit, I paid for 2 more deep tissue massages for myself & my partner, which I had scheduled for the following fortnight (not with Share as she was away). Unfortunately, I had to cancel our planned appointments as something came up.. I gave lots of advanced notice and asked online for a refund.. but never got any response. I sent multiple emails, messages (via the website) and rang multiple times and no one ever answered. This was last year. Haven't heard anything since. I'm down approx $130 as a result. It's a shame because I would have gone back/accepted an exchange on the dates, as Share was really good.

I have never written a review for anything before but I feel it is necessary if it saves even one person from wasting their time or money. I did not enjoy the massage at all. The man talked throughout the entire hour about himself. Being polite, I attempted to engage in conversation but it was definitely a one sided conversation. He then proceeded to very inappropriately diagnose me with a medical condition, but tired to soften it by saying "but I'm not a doctor". The whole experience has put me off ever getting a massage again .

I had a booking for the weekend after Aucklands disastrous flooding on Friday January 27 2023 but was unable to make it due to the flooding. It has been impossible to contact the owner since then to book a replacement time. Ive repeatedly emailed, left phone messages, and texted, but everything is handled by third parties - Optihealth doesnt respond or answer anything. They have a Facebook link on their website but it leads to a locked page. They have a Twitter link which goes nowhere. I can see from other dissatisfied reviewers that the owner blames their IT support but thats just a cop-out. It seems the only way to get the owners attention is to post a review, so here you go: Poor service is poor service and thats what Optihealth seems to specialise in. If I could give zero stars I would.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a good experience. At the first appointment, I was in so much pain because of the pressure, and I asked multiple times to lighten it up, but he didn't listen. I left in pain, and two weeks later, I was still experiencing a constant ache in my shoulder that wasn't there before. I told him I only wanted a relaxation massage the next time, and he changed nothing about the massage to suit my request. His conversation sounds like a broken record on repeat. The table is uncomfortable to lie on with no padding. Not going back.

Never go there. The owner doesn't listen what the client said at all. Even though I said my job was not office work, he decided my shoulder stiffness came from long hour sitting, and recommended to change the chair... Even though I was saying the pressure was too strong and asking to reduce the pressure, he never did. Eventually I got back pain on the next day. He put everyone to the same problems and he only knows one treatment. He never did 'client centred care'. He is full of himself.
