Same issues as many others. On hold for 2 hours each time I call, person that finally answers cant fix my issue but promises someone will call me at a specific time to help, but no one ever calls. I have sent emails but they never reply. I finally got someone to talk to and I told him what I needed. He sent me an email confirming my call but everything was wrong! Wrong address and wrong program. When I told him he said he would fix it and call me right back. I made him promise and he said he would definitely call me back that day to confirm everything was fixed. Its been over a week and still no response. I dont think I have a choice other than to go with a different provider.

Poor customer service. I moved to my new apartment 10 days ago. I have never received any bills yet. They disconnected my electricity connection on a public holiday (ANZAC day) and none of their customer support were answering the calls to resolve the issue. I can understand if people are not working on a public holiday. However, you cant expect to solve all the issues on regular business hours if you chose to disconnect on non working day. Its been such a painful experience to not have electricity the whole day. Hope this review helps someone else so they dont have to face this.

Thanks to Mercury, who closed my Meridian account without any explanation or warning, and forced me to spend an hour on the phone getting it restored. I guess they got their addresses mixed up, but based on this screw up, I will never use Mercury!

I called them five times last week! No-one is picking up the phone... I left my phone number twice so they would call me back...nobody is calling me back...I switch my account to Contact Energy...

OMG worst customer service ever! Waited for hours on the phone, only to be transferred to another department who hung up on me. Then I tried sending them a message. I got an automated response saying they'll try to get back to me in five days. FIVE DAYS!! Their phone lines aren't available even during the hours they say they are. Their chatbot is useless. Avoid this company at all costs.

I finally got someone to talk to and I told him what I needed. He sent me an email confirming my call but everything was wrong! Wrong address and wrong program. When I told him he said he would fix it and call me right back. I made him promise and he said he would definitely call me back that day to confirm everything was fixed.
