Heard such great things about this place and was so excited so took my partner and we spent $75 on takeaway (pick up). The staff in the restaurant were very lovely, however the food was very disappointing. The chicken curry had three pieces of bone in chicken which were quite small and did not have much meat on them, then three pieces of potato with a half filled container of sauce for the curry. The beef rendang was a clump of shredded beef, not particularly tasty unfortunately. Also the coconut rice did not taste like coconut at all so I'm unsure as to why that was. Overall very disappointed in portion sizes and flavour was okay on some dishes but lacks freshness and finesse. Definitely not worth the money unfortunaley based on my experience.

Every visit so far, the staff have been rude and Ive been coming here from time to time for many years, either they hate their job or they were never trained to serve people although they have the easiest job for such a tiny shop. This is also the first restaurant Ive experienced (and Ive been to many) when you ask to add additionals to your meal even though you offer to pay the extra they say no. Example I asked to add chicken to my noodles and they said they cant So weird her response didnt even make sense nor explain why and her tone of voice was rude. If they were a really fancy restaurant with limited supply and have short opening and closing hours then Id understand. But this shop is giving overpriced street market fast paced food in a restaurant location. Didnt leave a good impression for me

One of the best Malaysian restaurants you can find in Auckland. Food was full of flavours, well portioned and priced.
