I visited Mad Mex (Westfield Newmarket) on 7 March 2023. I was in line waiting to order some food. One of the staff was at the till serving a customer. She had gloves on her. The customer paid by cash. After that, the same staff went to the kitchen area and started preparation, and she didn't change her gloves; she touched the food with the same gloves. Unbelievable! Of course, I changed my mind and didn't order anything. After that, I spoke with that staff (her name is Priya) and told her that I will submit a complaint about what I saw. I tried to explain to her how important to change the gloves, etc., all the time, especially now with Covid. She kept telling me, "It's ok". I also asked to provide the area manager's name and contact details, but she refused. She mentioned that she doesn't know who management is because there are always different people. I thought it was bizarre. I will never come back again.

Had the burrito was tasty. Restaurant only had 2 salsa available and no hit sauces at all available. Pretty disappointing for a franchise. Burrito was oozing and falling apart half way thru eating was a big mess towards the end. Vegetarian options: Just font get the meat..boom vegetarian. Not sure why you would tho meat is the best.
