Birkenstock Footwear

I purchased a pair of Arizona Birkenstocks back in December 2020 when they were located at Newmarket train station. Already they are almost ready for the bin. The cork is cracking despite me using the cork glue sold to me by them. I went back to the store seeking a refund or replacement and they declined, telling me it's to do with my stride. I've had to have them re-soled and the crack in the heel glued which also hasn't lasted due to further cracking. they wouldn't even pay for the repair of these sandals which I should never have had to have done for sandals that cost $150 at the time. I would not recommend this brand.

Friendly, clean and modern store but the range was a bit decimated post Christmas and staff didn't seem as knowledgeable as ones in the UK.

Quite disappointed that my sons Birkenstocks purchased from Newmarket broke after Week 2 at school, and to return for a replacement requires a manager to assess the footwear before confirming if a credit (note: not a refund) or replacement will be provided, but can only be assessed during weekdays. So what is my son supposed to wear? Weve had Warehouse shoes last MUCH longer our family (Mum, Dad, 2 x sons) owns 10 pairs of Birkenstocks but this encounter is enough to turn us off the brand going forward - invest in your staff and empower them to provide seamless customer service, weekend or weekdays.

Went in there last weekend...there was 4 of them behind the counter. Looked like they saw right through me. No hi hello or anything. I walked around for about 10 minutes before asking for help. Even then they seem uninterested. When I asked questions the generic answer was "oh its all unisex". Definitely felt like I was being judged just because I was not dressed posh and was brown skin.

worst experience ever! Useless staffs. When I arrive there were 5staffs and at the time they were mingling around the store like dont even care about customers. Not even worth of throwing 1star. I was there before check in and gave phone call to making sure they have in stock but with help of associate over the phone saying they have them in stock and dont need to bothered because having enough stock but I still left my name to secure the stock within 20 mins in my arrival. Upon my arrival, two staffs were looking at me like why are you even here that look. And suddenly one of the staff came up and saying sorry we dont have stock and were trying to call me but Im sorry you guys never call me! I even show my phone record!!! Never ever even worth of trying to see any other options instead all they were saying if you want your shoes so badly than try across the street Shoe Clinic if they have your size! Are you guys even fill guilty for your customer travel for 30mins to pick up shoes and not even feel sorry and just looking at me like why do you care for shoe? Please Ive been hopos for more then 20years and never had this feel in my life! you guys are most horrible customer service and never even respect to your guests!
