3 alcohol outlets for people in the public stand but only one food truck down the other end of the park. Huge queues and wait times, running out of food. Surely this contravenes liquor licensing laws. Very poor.

We went to the Karaka Millions meeting - a premier day relocated to Pukekohe due to on- going renovations at Ellerslie. We attended the free entry public facilities and were disappointed at the whole day. View of the track is poor anyway because of its dual role as a motor racing track and very little effort was made to provide a good experience to those not paying for the several hospitality options. Poor food options, tote facilities and unusually grumpy staff at both! The public grandstand was dirty and the toilets substandard. Ellerslie should be embarrassed to have this meeting run under their banner at this very poor course. As long time patrons of Ellerslie we are hoping for an early reopening!
