Mt Eden Station

Closed until 2024 for redevelopment as part of the City Rail Link (will look amazing when done!) The replacement bus service (route 64) is free but you still need a HOP card to use it. Note half the photos are of the nearby mountain/summit (10min walk away), not of the station.

If you're looking for a train don't come here - there isn't any, they're all cancelled

I must say this is a very nice station. Easy to find, get onto a train and signage is pretty understandable for 1st timers. Sucks when you see first time train users asking for help and still cannot understand how our system works. Saw 2 non locals trying to decifer the train schedule, only to find out they were at the wrong stop and had no hop card. The workers there were amazing at tryinf to help them though. Apart from that great train ride to any rugby, cricket match.

Closed for new rail link but looks really promising. People working around the clock, day and night. Opening still a while away in 2024.
