Quest Takapuna

Rooms: Every convenience was provided, even washer and dryer, plus a dishwasher. Bed and chairs were comfortable, lighting was good. Nearby activities: In addition to nearby small shops, there is the "Goodside" with excellent cafes, bar, and more just a 5-7 minute walk away. Safety: Security was clearly evident but not obtrusive. Even to use the elevator you needed to wave your room card before going to a different floor. No strangers wandering the hallways. Walkability: In addition to places to eat, drink, and purchase basic groceries, the Smales Farm busway is only 5-10 minutes walk with very frequent buses to every part of Auckland. Super convenient. A very large shopping area (PaknSave, Bunnings, Noel Leeming, etc. etc) is less than 15 minutes away.

All I can say is the service I recieved upon arrival was outstanding! A lovely man who was working met me at my uber and helped take my suitcase inside as I had just had surgery. The room is stunning and has everything you would need including washer dryer fridge and microwave! Shower is hot and amazing pressure and everything is new and clean. I will be coming back to stay again and highly recommend this accom to everyone!

We just returned home to Melbourne after a lovely stay here! The room was well appointed and very, very clean. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was great, and I love the idea of the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers; what a great way to cut down on plastic waste! The location was handy for us - a bit out of the city but it's a nice short walk to the bus station and we found it easy to get around. Reception staff were really helpful whenever we had questions. My only (tiny) criticism is that the gym they have access to is a bit far away, which didn't bother me but my boyfriend had already been there for a few days for work when I arrived and would have loved to utilise a closer gym, like the one at Smales Farm. Otherwise, a great place to stay and very in keeping with what you would expect if you have stayed at Quest venues in the past :)
