This Panelbeaters was recommended to me & I wish I went literally anywhere else. The end product looks fine however, a process that was expected to take a month took almost three due to barnetts firstly neglecting to communicate with my insurance company in a reasonable time frame. When it came to booking in repairs I wasnt given any option of suitable days as per my schedule I was just expected to adjust my life to their expectations, 3 weeks later when I was due to drop the car off I called and ask to push it back a few days due to work commitments & I was told no as it was inconvenient to their schedule, I had to cancel my job for that week & abide by the Panelbeaters expectations. I then asked when the car would be ready, I was told the end of the following week, it wasnt ready by then. Instead the week after, I said nothing regarding the late repair as I expected them to not run to time. When I asked to pick up on Tuesday of the following week due to again having work commitments which meant I couldnt get to Albany by 4.30, I was told absolutely not, you must pick it up TODAY or I will be charging you $30 a day for storage. I asked where the contract was that was signed by me enabling them to charge me for storage, there was none. There was then messages back and forward where the tone from barnetts was condescending and demonstrated absolutely no respect for me being a human being with work commitments or frankly anything to do other than wait for them, I remind him that I tried changing the drop off day because of this and was told no etc. Payment was then demanded immediately online, I paid it via direct deposit and asked for the car to be placed roadside that night as I had to arrange someone else to pick it up, when they drove passed that night the car was locked behind a fence. Barnetts then told me it was my fault it wasnt road side, pretty sure theyre the ones with the key and the ability to move the car at this point. Finally I was able to pick up the car the following day after having to cancel a job for that day given the person who offered to pick it up wasnt willing to drive by again only to find the car locked away. I also have had to contact my insurance again for repairs given the car is not driving well at all, which they suggested is due to a proper assessment not being done on the car after the initial crash.
