Taenung Korean BBQ

They serve most authentic Korean BBQ and cold noodles(the best in New Zealand) which they make it in the shop (not the one ready-made noodle purchased from retailers) in Auckland. I am sure you can have excellent K-food experience as same as restaurants in Korea. Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Korean restaurant. Down side is the price tag which is higher than other Koreans restaurants.

My Mum, sisters and I dined in your restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The young waiter that looked after our table did a fabulous job and we had a fantastic evening. The food matched the service and as for us it was a relatively special occasion we are eternally grateful and wouldnt hesitate to dine there again.

Went to take my dad for his birthday dinner here as I heard it was a good bbq place. We have gone to many Korean bbqs over the years and been to korea twice now, so we know the deal by now. This place was disappointing. The meat is priced crazy for what it is. 100g of chicken for $33 is quite a lot. They didnt refill the banchan either!!! Rice also cost money. When youre paying so much for the meat I feel like you should for sure get more than one portion of banchan or at least a rice. Geez. Also quite sad because all the banchan was quite tasty would have really enjoyed if they gave us refills. We asked for steamed egg as a side and they said no as there is an egg shortage (fair enough). A couple tables had a fried pancake and i asked for an order of that, and they said that item isnt available to you. It was a really weird experience and I was really embarrassed to have taken my dad there on his birthday. $95 for dinner for 3 people and we all left really hungry!! At Korean bbq! Unheard of!!! Sad times.
