Skechers Albany

The branch manager was not helpful at all. I approached her as I got some issues with my recently skechers GoWalk 6 and she hasnt tried to figure out my issue; which ended up an incorrect shoe type. I guess because they are a very busy store, bit I dont believe that is an understandable excuse, especially for a global company like Skechers. Overall, if you ended up buying from them, please try as many sizes as you can including wide fit versions. Unfortunately, the staff there might not be very helpful. This is unlike the Sylvia Park branch which were very amazing and super helpful

Mary was a fabulous and very friendly sales person. I came in with faulty goods. She was very thorough and made it very easy . Thanks Mary

I dont buy expensive shoes very often so when I do - it pays to make sure they are exactly what i want. I wanted to try on several pairs and asked the assistant for the sizes to be brought out. She did, then went to serve someone else. I noted that one hadnt been brought so I went to find her again and asked for that pair. She told me they didnt have that size. Fair enough but it would have been helpful to be told this. I wasnt overly happy with my selection after trying them on so found another couple to try. When I again asked the assistant to get me the sizes, she simply rolled her eyes and walked off. I waited and waited and waited - noting she was serving other customers. Finally I realised she wasnt going to bring them and asked another assistant to get them. She came back telling me there wasnt my size and left. What struck me was the level of customer service given. Nobody was overly rude but neither were they very helpful. I had to prise things out of all of them. Instead of saying, not in your size however they do come in black which we do have in your size and we do also have have socks in case you need I only got what I wanted due to my persistence rather than any meaningful help from the staff. Perhaps sketchers make too much money to worry about a great customer experience A shame as this is simply good training.
