Very unhappy. We went in a group of four and ordered four noodle dishes. Two dishes came quickly but the other way came very slowly. My food only arrived after I followed up with the staff and when other people have almost finished theirs! Its even worse to see a group of people who came after us have their food before us. I didnt end up eating as everyone else has finished their food. The restaurant didnt charge for my dish, however it ruined our family Friday dinner.

Waited for over half hour for food. Asked one of the staff how much longer we'd have to wait for - he said oh we only just realized that you placed an order. Close to 40 minutes we were sitting st the table while the staff walked around bringing food out to other customers and no one bothered to check up on us. We dont know what the lady who took our order did with it honestly, she was just wandering around doing random things? Asked to speak with manager to leave feedback, apparently no manager on duty. Very disappointing.

Do you want wat tan hor the consistency of water and char kuay teow with no lap cheong or chives? Then this is the place for you! Sotong ok

Fried sotong (squid) was fresh, crunchy and well-seasoned. The rest of what we ordered was lacklustre. Our Char Kuay Teow didn't have that wok-hei (smoky charred flavour) and it only came with 2 pieces of prawns and no chinese sausage at all. The Wat Tah Hor was too watery and the Fried Chilli Tofu was over-drenched in sauce and barely had any cucumber or peanuts. Quite an expensive place. I'd recommend Chef Rasa Sayang in Birkenhead for better quality and better value Malaysian hawker fare.
