Some small soundproofing problems, but despite that it's a pleasant place, with a small garden behind, where you can eat and enjoy the sun. Not very far from the center (for a big city of course!), easy to walk there. The people working there are very accommodating, after 30 hours of flights, I obviously arrived a little too early to get my room, they obviously let me take my shower and put my things down, etc. (Original) Je suis reste 1 semaine dans cet auberge aprs recommandation. Vraiment gnial, aucun regret. Quelques petits soucis d'insonorisations, mais malgr a c'est un endroit agrable, avec un petit jardin derrire, o on peut aller manger et profiter du soleil. Pas trs loin du centre (pour une grosse ville videment!), facile d'y aller pied. Les personnes travaillant la bas sont trs arrangeant, aprs 30h de vols, je suis arrive videment un peu trop tt pour avoir ma chambre, ils m'ont videment laisser prendre ma douche poser mes affaires, etc

I stayed here for almost 2 months and I felt like I was home. Beautiful hostel in one of the most beautiful areas in Auckland. I will miss that place.

I am here now and very much regret all my decisions that led me here. I'm not exactly sure how this place has such a good rating. I stayed at verandah's and it was at least 300% better. A rough estimate. Stay here if you're planning to live here long term. Then I am sure it is great because you treat it like your house. As a traveler who's wandering through expect no fridge space. No real room to relax. A chick is playing her podcasts out loud in the lounge because I'm sure she lives here and thinks that's totally normal. The bathrooms are so small you have to do a ninja move to get the door to close. Like the place is average at best. These rave reviews are a total miss alignment with reality. Move along. Go to verandah's down the road. Way nicer, bigger, and more chill.
