Unfortunately Kuta Bali Ponsonby has been closed for some time and the Albany store recently closed around September 2022. Such amazing and flavour packed dishes that I miss so much. My favorite was the Bakmie Goreng noodle dish. Best I've ever had and even better than you can find in Bali the actual island. Hope they reopen someday.

Not a bad place to get Indonesian food. Although it's no longer authentic Indonesian food, and unfortunately, getting worst as time go. What I like here are fried rice, gado-gado, and their sambal (chili sauce/paste). The only redeeming thing: it opens until quite late as it follows Ponsonby International Food Count hours; and just in-case it close on the day, I can still get food from other stalls without having to fight for parking.

Fantastic, fresh, delicious Indonesian food, very authentic, best I have tried in NZ, and the price is very reasonable for a large plate of fantastic food.

My husband and I ate here yesterday. My laksa dish had only the tiniest threads of vegetable, and the bean sprouts in the advertised photo were almost non-existent. My husband's Seafood Kuta was more expensive. However, it had three prawns, but absolutely no other seafood. The photo shows the spongy, fake "seafood" that was supposed to be - what, fish? I don't think there was any fish in it. Very disappointing.
