After damaging myself physically as a result of over exertion at the gym and in the garden, I ended up with a combination of neural tension, distressed fascia and lack of flexibility that made my life utterly miserable. I was seeing a Physiotherapist and Chiropractor at least once a week. I definitely knew that there was a link between the physical work I was doing and needing to see professionals to get me back on track - but I never truly improved. My frustration (and belief that things could not get better) peaked at a time when I met Amanda. I had not heard of the Ridgeway Method before, but I liked the concept that it wasn't about treating the site of the discomfort but looking at the body holistically. Also I liked the fact that the method was objective and did not rely on the subjective observations of the patient! I can now do more physical activity with the confidence that I can self manage through good posture and self manipulation between sessions with Amanda. Sure, I do fall off the wagon...I occassionally slouch, put my neck in the wrong position...but now I have the tools to self right myself. Amanda has made a difference for me that will carry me through the rest of my life.

I was referred to Amanda after undergoing treatment elsewhere,for quite bad plantar fasciitis in my right foot,for approx. 6months. After a number of sessions, Amanda was able to show me some very subtle changes to my posture and the pain was gone :) Would highly recommend Amanda to anyone whose issues are not being sorted by their current provider.
