    My husband and me collectively worked with 6 property managers from 6 different companies/ individual, both as tenants or landlords, none of them worked like this. When I had a home viewing and asked her about TV signal, Internet connection and house conditions in general, Sophie repeatedly said this home is a brand new house, no issues I need to be worried about. We moved in on 21/10/2022. By 31/10/2022, we raised 13 issues! Initially, most of communication were done by phone. then we found out that she did not keep her words (no internet &TV signal connected), pushed us to fix the laundry leak ourselves, and also asked us to accept the property condition as it is. So we asked her to communicate to us only through email and keep all the communication with me (not both me and my husband) so that we can have more effective communication. All emails we followed up with her about the issues, she always responded to only "some" of the issues we raised. However she usually asked us if "all" the issues are fixed! When I emailed her to escalate our concern to the next person in line, she instead called my husband! So i made a trip to her office and made a verbal complaint to her manager, Tim. He listened and agreed to my frustration. However, after 3 working days, I still have not heard back from Sophie of any further communication or resolutions. As of now, out of all issues, there are 3 critical/high priority issues that have not been responded nor addressed: - Smoke alarm in one of the bedrooms is missing (Raised on 25/10/2022) - A lock on a Back fence gate is not installed properly and allow a gate to open by itself. We pay $10 extra a week to have a pet in the house. However we cannot let our pet run free in our backyard because of the un-reliable back fence gate. (Raised on 25/10/2022) - Water pressure of a shower in an en-suite bathroom is very low that it cannot be used.(Raised on 31/10/2022) If you are a tenant, avoiding a house managed by this property manager at all cost. If you are a landlord wanting to provide a rental home which is compliant, looks else where.
