I can recommend this rescue place for injured and sick birds! The staff are compassionate and knowledgeable about saving birds. I left a pigeon there who had been attacked by a cat. Unfortunately I found out later she or he had died from the injuries, however that was no fault of theirs. The bird had been left too long before I was asked to help it! They have a smooth system which helps as many birds as is possible to survive. You need of course to take the bird there. They don't collect. They are in Greenbay, Auckland.

The volunteers and staff at BirdCare are doing a fantastic job caring for our wildlife. I went to a course on emergency bird care by their veterinary specialist and learned so much. Thank you for all you are doing.
