Titirangi Medical Centre

I came in with suspected appendicitis (which can kill you) only to be turned away at the door for not being a patient of theirs or having an appointment. They said they couldn't help me and to go somewhere else, suggesting the white cross in New Lynn. Titirangi MC was the closest doctors to me and, not well enough to drive, I didn't have any way to get to New Lynn... except a bus in an hours' time or a taxi. They wouldn't call a taxi for me (although did give me a number for one). Was seen almost immediately at the New Lynn Whitecross who took my condition seriously. Should have just gone there in the first place.

Been coming here for 20years+ Bar my doctor Stephen Wong who is a good family gp I can't speak highly of this place anymore. This makes me sad. Disappointed with what this place has turned into and the service they now provide to the locals. Rude, arrogant and unacceptable attitude from the nurse and management. I feel they simply lack empathy or any kindness in my experience. When you think about our rights- to be treated with dignity and respect they fail to do this. I hope people get treated with more respect than I have experienced on multiple occasions. Have enrolled elsewhere. Ng mihi

The team at Titirangi Medical are great, my first time back in 3 years and they're still providing an excellent service.
