Du Bois Designer Kitchens and Interiors

We contacted Natalie because we'd seen her work in some magazines and liked her interpretation of English style kitchens, having worked in the UK for some top kitchen design/build companies. We asked her to come up with some ideas that would make our kitchen work better than the already good one we had but it was getting tired after 20+ years. It had to be in keeping with the villa style of the house and look like antique furniture rather than an add-on. The results are nothing short of sensational. We are absolutely delighted with the beautiful details of all the special things she designed or selected like the custom cornices and door/drawer mouldings, display shelves and cabinets with discreet but incredibly effective strip lighting, a marble-like finish on the quartzite bench top (more durable and practical) with finely detailed edging and much much more. She went to enormous lengths to get the best suppliers and trades people on the job, selecting the colour and finish perfectly for the solid timber cabinetry, the bench edge and every other conceivable detail. I am an industrial designer and my partner is a fashion designer so we had our own ideas. Natalie took those and turned them into something truly exceptional. We debated many of her ideas, always ending up agreeing on something that worked for us. Even our laundry is a show piece with display shelves for our vases, a quartzite splashback and brass fittings in keeping with the rest of the house. If you want a beautiful kitchen and/or laundry), we strongly recommend Natalie. In fact we are already talking to her about our bathrooms :-) Service: Refurbishment

Natalie is a wonderful designer who helped us renovate every room in our 1938 home. She is incredibly capable and thorough and will help you through the entire renovation or build process. Natalie was recommended to me via another designer who thought very highly of her. Working with Natalie really highlighted to me how much is involved in any kitchen design, and how important detail, quality and communication within the whole team is. Natalie has beautiful and elegant taste, however can match any request and budget you may have. Moreover, she has a large network of contacts which she can access very quickly saving the client time and money. Options are well presented and in my experience with her, completely in keeping with my brief. She listens to her client which is proof in her drawings and designs. Natalie has also been extremely helpful with advice in living room design from rugs, beautiful furniture and flooring. If you are looking for a kitchen or home to be extremely proud of ( and friends envious of), I would strongly recommend Natalie.
