We loved Emmy, the perfect van for our adventure! Trouble free rental (including pickup & drop-off) made our first visit to NZ a snap. Comfy bedding, smooth driving and thoughtful appointments -- cookware, necessaries we forgot (like coffee!!!) and more -- made our camping experience delightful. Thanks to Kim & Ian, we made "forever" family memories.

My partner and I had a fantastic 4 weeks exploring New Zealand in Selma - one of the Quirky Campers fleet. From day one we fell in love with her cozy style. Monika and Graeme were fantastic hosts, and I couldn't recommend them, and Selma, enough. (Selma hired in March 2023)

The best campervan company ever. You can't go wrong! All the vans are unique. We hired Selma and loved all the personal touches that you wouldn't get if you booked with another company. Everything that is usually stressful with hiring a car was so easy: insurance, pick up, drop off all no worries. We could even bring our dog so what more could you want. We've already booked in another trip in the South Island.. Can't wait!

Kaewa was a dream home on wheels. High spec fit out left us wanting for nothing. We spent 5 nights tripping around Coromandel. We have owned a van but not fitted out like Kaewa. It drove and handled very well, the steep and windy roads were no problem. Dont delay treat yo self!

Quirky Campers is hands down the best and only service you should rent from for your next van trip. I was looking to support a locally run business over a commercial company and this is it! Great communication and good people, you essentially rent directly from the van owners. We took out Fergus for a few days in the North Island, it has everything you need and it was absolutely magical.
