I would highly recommend this pregnancy yoga course. It was so much more than just yoga. Petra taught us breathing, movement and visualisation techniques that I was able to use during my labour to help me have a beautiful, drug-free birth. The class was small and so even though it was online, it felt very personal. It was so nice to take time each week to connect with my body and my baby through this class.

Petra's class is a fantastic part of preparing for labour and I would recommend it to anyone who is pregnant. I am sure that the exercises (both physical and mental, through the breathing work) contributed to make the birth of my son the positive experience that it was. As we were in a covid lockdown the classes were on zoom and I found this format was better than I expected - it was actually really convenient and relaxing to do it at home. I also had a one on one session with Petra in which she helped me get familiar with some daily exercises to target specific issues I had. Can't recommend enough!

I enjoyed Petra's yoga classes a lot. Petra is very knowledgeable and super kind. The classes were very interesting, helpful and relaxing. She also helped me to ease my reflux and sleeping problems. Highly recommend!

The Pregnancy Yoga and Childbirth Preparation course with Petra has been invaluable, it has given me the confidence and tools to be prepared for birth in a calm and mindful way. It has also provided a space very week just for me to connect with my baby. I have just finished the 12 week course but plan to join other yoga classes and keep going up until birth. Arohanui Petra!

This 12 week course was the single best thing I did during my pregnancy. I was initially disappointed that we had to move to Zoom but it worked really well and Petra was attentive to us all and our particular needs. I really appreciated the focus on correct alignment/posture and breathing and visualisation exercises for labour. It's so good to practise these things regularly so they become second nature. I credit Petra's classes with my ability to stay calm during my labour, try out different positions to cope, and keep things moving along quickly. I surprised myself by not needing any pain relief except a TENS machine and gas. I'll definitely be back for any future pregnancies. Highly recommended!
