Felt very privileged to get to see it after the storm as only locals and people who have accommodation booked can actually visit at this time.
(Many friendly police around asking to check bookings through out the day we were there)
Was a little sad that the heritage walking path onto Lion rock is shut for safety reasons but the beach itself is still breathtakingly beautiful especially during morning and sun set. Wish I brought a wet suit and surf board
