We personally used Lesleys services when we moved into our new home in Glendowie for all our curtains and blinds and also to purchase two special easy chairs for the lounge. Lesley not only gave excellent advice on the window covering options which worked a lot better than what we had envisioned, but we had access through her to all the textile companies products and she arranged the operation smoothly were very happy with the results! Also through Lesley we ordered two special chairs which were to be a feature in the lounge. Again we had access to a wide range of fabric options / colours and with her contacts in NZ furniture manufacturers we obtained two gorgeous feature chairs. I was fortunate recently to look through one major renovation done by Lesley and I was so impressed with her obvious talent for use of spaces to maximize light, sun and views and her all-important final details really displayed her talent as a thoughtful interior designer. Lesley had designed and overseen the entire re-design of a 60s house which included moving walls and spaces to ensure the maximum benefit of a lovely view and northerly aspect for the living spaces and the private areas achieved privacy. The result is, while still in keeping with the age of the house, a modern upbeat dcor offering wonderful indoor / outdoor flow, wonderful colours and details throughout. The well-designed kitchen is stunning as are the bathrooms with carefully chosen tiles, appliances and small, but important details. Really impressive and we enjoyed looking through!! I would wholeheartedly recommend Lesley for her talent, but also as a lovely person who listened carefully to our needs and requirements and achieved a top result. From our experience by employing her as a specialist interior designer we not only avoided a costly mistake, but we achieved a result better than we had anticipated. On top of that overall it worked out economically worthwhile. So we're happy all round - and many thanks to Lesley!! Lesley helped me finish my living space, a large living/dining area which needed an overall plan and some key pieces of furniture/rugs. Lesley was really helpful, listening to how we used the space and making suggestions that I never would have thought about but really worked. With a new baby, it was invaluable to have Lesley pick out options for furniture according to what we were looking for, and made the process of choosing furniture really simple and fun. We have recently completed a significant renovation of our home in St Heliers which included a reclad of the exterior, new bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and painting of the interior. I initially felt quite overwhelmed with the choices and decisions that were required in bringing this project together. Lesley was a godsend. Lesley was able to bring all of the colours and surfaces together, and we are thrilled with the outcome of the project. We were renovating our Villa and adding a large kitchen, laundry, dining and family room extension. Lesley's brief was to keep the original part of the house in Villa styling but with a nod to the modern extension. The extension brief was modern NYC style. The changeover point from Villa to NYC are the gorgeous steel-style hall doors. Lesley guided me through the whole process - from interior colours, curtains, flooring, kitchen/bathroom/laundry cabinets, bench tops furniture and lighting etc. Her choice of pendants, hall lighting etc. has been exceptional! We couldn't be more thrilled with the result. I would recommend Lesley to anyone who needed help with any part of interior design - from a room or space to furniture to any size extension.
