Angel Thai Restaurant

Me and family went out for birthday dinner yesterday.. the staff was great.. we liked the view...but we were a bit disappointed in food...we order 5 different dishes and only 1 was good...they were too small for the price....we were so hungry after we left we order takeaways...

After reading some of the recent reviews I was worried about staff being rude to customers and having a bad experience. I decided to go to this restaurant last night and I was amazed how well they have served us. They even asked if we would like to change our table to be closer to the window view. They clearly have done something because we had a great night. We ordered the green curry and the Pad see ew that were incredible and delicious. I will definitely come back!

We eat here on a regular basis as its always been a great experience. We are always spending a lot of money here and also taking friends here, recommend it to others etc. However last Saturday evening at 6pm we went for early dinner so not prime time, we ordered 2 wines 1 meal to share and roti bread as we were going out afterwards. We were told to order another meal or that we should order a takeaway instead as we were taking up a table and that minimum spend per person was $30. It doesnt say this anywhere. We felt really awkward and uncomfortable and when I worked it out the cost of our order was over $60 between us. Unfortunately this left a bad taste in our mouths and we will not be revisiting or recommending Angel Thai in future.
