Worked here for a bit and was disgusted at the high turnover of overqualified and underpaid staff. The current fake 5 star reviews you see are all from staff members who don't have enough sense to find a better job. The facilities are very small, management is absolutely terrible, especially for production. There was an incredible amount of toxicity between staff because many were lazy. Tea breaks are all timed to the minute. How ridiculous. Pay was minimum wage and because of staffing issues (surprise, surprise!), they always asked the rest of the staff if they could pick up extra hours. Being the naive person I was at the time, I was doing 60 hour shifts at less than minimum wage because I found the job through a recruitment company which took 1/3 of the pay. Additionally, these clowns had a hidden stipulation in the contract saying that one could be dismissed at any time for any reason. Once I stopped bowing down to the dictatorial manager's every whim, I found myself out of a job. Some advice to any investors out there, small or large: RUN. Look at their past performance. It has been like this for the past decade and more. This company has stayed at the same location for the past decade without much growth. The "facility" where their "regenerative products" are made, i.e. sheep stomachs washed and bleached and literally hand scraped with bench scrapers, consists of a few dirty tables in the middle of a warehouse, and a couple of old freeze driers that should have been replaced a decade ago. QA/QC there is also extremely questionable. What QA/QC? You might see it written on paper, but the results have been cooked more than the poor sheep. If you have stepped foot in the "manufacturing facility" once, you will know what I mean. At least 80% of the staff (non-managerial level) quit in the first few months. The only ones that don't know any better or unfortunately don't have the skills to go elsewhere. Lastly, Simone Von Fircks, the former vice-president of operations at Aroa Biosurgery was the worst of the bunch. Hands down the worst person I have ever had the displeasure to work under. Absolute dictator (the one that timed tea breaks for staff to the minute). Glad I don't work there anymore.
