I was quoted 10k cash for a full car paint job, this did not include the engine bay or inside boot area. The project took more than 2-months to do and the job was not complete by the end of it. I paid $10k in cash and was invoiced a further $8100, which I also paid. When I attempted to discuss this with FEI the owner he would not compromise or accept anything other than full payment dismissing any points that were valid and would not return my property that was on site due to the incomplete job. With evidence of the payments and proof of unsatisfactory workmanship I will be looking at legal action to try and get an outcome that is suitable. This was a disgraceful way to do business and When dealing with this company make sure to get everything in writing as they will over charge and under delivery on their promises.
