Absolutely appalled by the shocking customer service shown by one of your pharmacists on Sunday afternoon 28/08/22. My girlfriend was suffering from a severe allergic reaction to nuts and we knocked on the door of the pharmacy at 2pm as they were closing. After knocking on the door in desperation, they hastily opened the door and begrudgingly let us in. When my girlfriend asked for the medication (which was sitting right in front of the pharmacist), they replied with "Sorry, that requires me to turn on the ordering system again, which I can't do because we're closed" and then she offered us an anti-inflammatory that would do absolutely nothing to ease the reaction. Now I recognise that you were closing at 2pm and we arrived slightly later, but given this was a medical emergency I would assume you would prioritise a customers health over finishing at closing time on the dot. Instead, she essentially pushed us out of the pharmacy and walked out with us! Now I am never one to complain - I've worked in the service and hospitality sectors for over five years and understand the annoyance of having customers walk in right as you are closing. But to be refused essential medication because you can't be bothered to turn your system back on is absolutely despicable and extremely unprofessional. Luckily we were able to drive to Warkworth where we did eventually find the necessary medication so my girlfriend could breathe properly. I think you should seriously consider relaying to your staff that you are an ESSENTIAL business and that in a medical emergency your customers health should take priority over you finishing on time. Absolutely ridiculous - if I could give zero stars if I could. Don't bother visiting if you're suffering from anything remotely medical related - just drive to Warkworth.
