Westwave pool and leisure centre is very popular over the weekends. Unfortunately it has suffered some damage since Cyclone Gabrielle. The main pool and dive pool are up and running and have just had new lighting installed prior to the storm. Parking can be difficult when there is a swim competition. Great pool with plenty of life guards on duty and looking after of the people. Lots of variety of pools as well which cater for different liking, such as: wave pool, lazy river pool, toddler pool, family pool, main pool, as well as diving pool. Have plenty of facilities such as saunas and jet pools. Their changing room are great and plenty. Their swim teachers are very skilled and great with the children. My pre-schooler loves the pools as well as his teacher. The downside is their car park can be extremely full as it's shared with myriad activities and venues in the compound.
